Specifically, vehicles affected by the road sign measure include

Intervention and work vehicles, driving slowly or stopped on the open road (or on the hard shoulder).

Unmarked light vehicles that are not assigned intervention duties but have to stop on the shoulder or enter a construction zone

However, some road vehicles are not required to display triflash, such as water sprinklers, road sweepers and garbage collection vehicles. To be legal, the AK5 signs that make up the triflash must

be visible from both the front and rear of the vehicle.
